The course
Point-to-point-style city course starting at the Vienna International Centre (UN complex), crossing the Reichsbrücke over the Danube, then through Praterstern and Prater Park, along the Ringstrasse past the State Opera and City Hall, out to Schönbrunn Palace, and back via the Ringstrasse and the Donaukanal. Finishes on the Universitätsring in front of the Burgtheater. Mostly flat course (around 90 m total ascent), all on paved city roads.
