The course

Point-to-point, net-downhill course starting in the Pine Valley Mountains (near Central, around 5,200 ft) and finishing at Vernon Worthen Park in downtown St. George (around 2,600 ft), a drop of roughly 2,400-2,600 ft. Despite the net descent it is not uniformly downhill: notable features include the Veyo Wall climb near mile 8 and a long descent through Snow Canyon in miles 15-21. Predominantly paved road, scenic desert and canyon terrain.
