The course
A flat, fast loop course through Berlin starting and finishing on Strasse des 17. Juni by the Brandenburg Gate. It winds through 10 city districts, passing the Reichstag, the Victory Column, Potsdamer Platz, Berlin Cathedral, and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. There are only gentle inclines in the second half (about 73 m of total gain); the race finishes beneath the Brandenburg Gate.
