Tokyo, Japan

Verified dateMarch 7, 2027

The course

Mostly flat city course starting in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku and finishing beside Tokyo Station near the Imperial Palace. Roughly 60 m of total elevation gain, with a gentle downhill opening section; the layout combines a point-to-point trajectory with several out-and-back spurs and turnarounds (around Asakusa, Ginza and Shinagawa). Entirely paved city streets; course has been redesigned in recent years to remove late-race bridge climbs.
