Hofu Marathon 2026

The Hofu Yomiuri Marathon starts on the prefectural road in front of the Salt Arena Hofu and finishes on the track of the athletics stadium across the street, running an out-and-back turnaround course to Oaza Tajima. The 2026 edition moved the course from the north to the south side of Hofu Station after organizers judged the old narrow roads unsafe. The loop course is very flat, with a reported high-low elevation difference under 9 metres.
