Point-to-point course from near U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis to the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul. Circles four of the Chain of Lakes, follows stretches along the Mississippi River, then climbs Summit Avenue — the course's defining climb is concentrated in miles 19-20 as it rises toward the Cathedral of St. Paul — before a sharp final descent to the Capitol finish. Mostly flat to gently rolling overall; roughly 984 ft of cumulative gain with near-zero net elevation.
