The course
The course starts and finishes in Prague's Old Town Square and loops through the historic city center along the Vltava River. Early in the race runners cross the iconic Charles Bridge (between km 2-3), then pass Malá Strana, Wenceslas Square, the Powder Tower, the National Theatre, and the Dancing House, crossing the Vltava on several bridges (about eight in total). Terrain is largely flat with only minor inclines, though portions of the route are cobblestone. World Athletics Elite Label road race.
