Portland Marathon 2026
Portland, OR, USA
The course
The course starts and finishes at Tom McCall Waterfront Park at Salmon Street and Naito Parkway in downtown Portland. It heads north along the Willamette River on an out-and-back route through the old town, residential neighborhoods, and industrial frontage, climbing to the crest of the St. Johns Bridge, considered the course's main hill with about a 100-ft ascent. Runners then retrace back south to the downtown finish. Terrain is mostly flat to gently rolling apart from the bridge climb; it is a Boston-qualifying road course.
