It crosses several bridges spanning the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers and winds through neighborhoods including the Strip District, Oakland, Shadyside, East Liberty, Highland Park, Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, and the South Side. Terrain is rolling hills throughout with no single dominant climb; total elevation gain is roughly 900 ft and the course is a Boston qualifier.
