The course
Point-to-point course starting in rural Frenchtown west of Missoula, following long straight stretches through the Clark Fork River valley. One main hill comes just past the halfway point (around mile 14), climbing from about 3,100 to 3,256 feet. The second half winds through tree-lined Missoula neighborhoods to finish in historic downtown at the Higgins Avenue Bridge. Predominantly flat and fast but run at 3,000+ feet of altitude; USATF-certified.
