The course
Starts and finishes at The STRAT in Las Vegas. The course heads north on Las Vegas Boulevard through the Fremont Street Experience (miles 3-4), then into west Las Vegas neighborhoods including the Springs Preserve (miles 8.5-11). The final 10 miles are a south-to-north out-and-back on the Las Vegas Strip, turning around at the 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' sign. Entirely paved, mostly flat city roads.
