Honolulu Marathon 2026
Honolulu, HI, USA
The course
The Honolulu Marathon starts before dawn near Ala Moana Beach Park, loops through downtown Honolulu past Aloha Tower and Iolani Palace, then heads east through Waikiki and up around Diamond Head. It continues through Kahala to Hawaii Kai for an out-and-back, then returns around Diamond Head (the ocean side on the way back) to finish in Kapiolani Park. The course is moderately hilly, with the climbs around Diamond Head (twice) and the Hawaii Kai section being the main elevation, compounded by typical December warmth and humidity.
