Anchorage Mayor's Marathon 2027

A hilly marathon course through Anchorage, Alaska, run largely on paved trails rather than open roads. The route follows the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail along Cook Inlet, turns inland along the Chester Creek Trail past Westchester Lagoon and Goose Lake, and traverses the 4,000-acre Far North Bicentennial Park, with wildlife sightings possible. It finishes at Delaney Park Strip in downtown Anchorage; the course gains roughly 250 metres of climbing over 42.2 km.
