The course
The Generali Geneva Marathon starts in the countryside east of the city (Cologny/Chene-Bourg area), winding through villages, fields and vineyards with Alpine views. It then follows the shores of Lake Geneva into the heart of the city, finishing on the Pont du Mont-Blanc in front of the Jet d'Eau. The course is flat with minimal elevation changes, making it a fast, personal-best-friendly route.
